Happy March!!!!! Mein MONAT :)
Hallo März - mein Monat.....und was mach ich daraus????
Mal sehen......
Was ist für dich slow down??????
Hm...interessant das diese Frage erst JETZT kommt......
'If you want to make difference in someone's life, you don't need to be gorgeous, rich, famous, brilliant, or perfect.
You just have to care.'
- Mandy Hale
'Our emotions, past experiences, and unresolved trauma show up within our body.
Through "mystery illnesses", autoimmune disorders, or other diseases.
Here is why:
Psychoneuroimmunology is an area of research that connects stress and emotional states to disease. It focuses on how our immune, brain, and nervous systems interact. It does this through a bidirectional immune to brain pathway. When we have chronic stress or complex trauma, our body responds the same way as we do when we encounter an infection. The body releases cytokines to help control inflammation. Too many cytokines lead to things like autoimmune disease or chronic pain. Sadly, some people are told their symptoms are "all in their head" when the research shows differently. Being dismissed when you have very real symptoms only creates more stress and feelings of helplessness from not being believed. Our bodies are interconnected. And our past experiences show up within the body. Abuse, betrayal, and emotional neglect are an emotional invasion to the body.
Our body responds accordingly. People with higher ACES scores (childhood trauma) are at higher risk for diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, depression, anxiety, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. The CDC encourages "cancer prevention in childhood" noting: "children need safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments to thrive."
A study on Holocaust survivors showed that they're twice as likely to have fibromyalgia than their peers. Research also shows violence to women increases their likelihood of a cancer diagnosis noting "women victims of violence and both children and adults exposed to violence have high levels of C-reative protien an inflammation biomarker." Our bodies are always attempting to protect us. To fight infection. To bring the body back to homeostasis. Our bodies arent't attacking us, they're repsonding to our lived experience that is often ignored or dismissed. Our bodies are wise and our experiences matter.'

'To reclaim your authenticity you have to become okay with being seen as "too much" "too big" or "too intense" to some people.
Being okay with being misperceived is a sign that you're more commitet to listening to your heart than confirming to what others want you to be.'

'Sitting in stillness (with nothing but your feelings) removes the possibility for action, confronting your nervous system with the root of your discomfort.
This is why some of us struggle to rest, to slow down and frankly, to heal. "I feel better when I'm busy", is a frequent statement that we hear from self-healers, and while society may have taught us that being busy is the driving force behind high achievers, it is actually a sign that we feel unsafe sitting with ourselves. Over the years we have learned that stillness, rest, and space are a threat and that we must remain in constant movement, achieving to prove our worth. When we learn to sit with our emotions, our sensations, and our thoughts, we can truly begin to look deeper within ourselves and uncover the root cause behind thought patterns, behaviors, and symptoms.
Are you comfortable slowing down?'

'If you want to have a good, healthy partner, your focus needs to be on becoming a good healthy partner. And, in order for you to become a good and healthy partner, your primarily focus needs to on becoming a better and healthier person in life.'

'When I dare to be powerful - to use my strength in the services of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.'
- Audre Lorde
