~ Embodied Wege ~

Embodied Wege sind nicht gradlinige und berechenbar schon gar nicht.

Es ist der Weg der Verletzlichkeit.

Und der Kraft.

'Vulnerability is not weakness. It is the courage to let yourself be seen with truth instead of perfection, and that is where real strength begins.'

'Das Verletzlichste, was ich tun kann, ist dir meinen Schmerz zu zeigen. Das Liebevollste, was du tun kannst, ist, nicht wegzuschauen.'

'the liminal space.

Is the uncertain, transitional phase between where you've been and where you're headed - whether physically, emotionally, or metaphorically. To be in a liminal space means standing on the edge of something new, yet not fully arrived. These spaces can feel uncomfortable or ambiguous, because they're where growth and transformation take place.'

'Embodiment is not glamorous.

It is not soothing playlists, curated rituals, or daily routine. It is  shaking. It is nausea. It is grief breaking through old walls. True embodiement is not about feeling good.

It is about feeling what was once unbearable.

The reality of coming back into the body?

It is not Instagrammable. It does not fit neatly into a 30-day-challeng. It is someone curled up on the floor, shaking uncontrollably after finally feeling something they have spent years suppressing. It is the grief that floods in when the body realizes it is finally safe enough to process what it could  not before. It is nausea rising during a simple breath exercise, not because something is wrong, but because the body is thawing.

It is rage. It is grief. It is the undeniable truth that healing is not about transcendence; it is about learning how to hold what was once unbearable.

This is why real somatic work takes time. It is not a quick fix. It is not about getting rid of discomfort; it is about learning to be in relationship with it.

It is witnessing the body's stories, not erasing them.

There is a reason embodiment is avoided.

The body holds everything: the memories that could not be processed, the emotions that had to be suppressed, the traumas that had no resolution. It is easier to chase regulation, to focus on calming techniques, to seek out only what soothes.

But real embodiment asks something deeper....

- What have you been protecting yourself from feeling?

- Where have you mistaken numbness for peace?

- What if the discomfort isn't something to fix, but something to understand?

Because somatics is not just about relief. It is about reckoning.

It is about sitting in the middle of the storm and realizing this is where the real work begins.

Yes, nervous system regulation is important. Yes, breathwork and movement are helpful. But if we only focus on calming the body, we are missing the point.

The goal is not just to feel better. It is to feel fully. To be embodied is not to be comfortable. It is to be awake.'
