Today we used the short sunshining time for a quick walk, only me and my youngest one. We were lucky, only the morning had some sun.....we enjoyed it, after almost 2 weeks without! So enjoy the photos! Smiles, Anke ;)

Busy hands, Couch covers and Mc Queen......

....no new nature fotos. Due to lot's of rainy days we don't go for walks lately. I miss it. Hopefully this grey dull sky leaves soon and some sun will show through again. Looks like we got a typical grey november here in Germany. But honestly I don't have that much time to be pissed about the weather. This week is a busy one (which week isn't lately- none so far). Anyway I got my couch covers done! I love the stripes, so when time allows it again, the next sewing will be my curtains! Can't wait to see them up!

This weekend I have some more classes coming up, looking forward to it. And finally have to get going to think about some advanced classes...

The kids are doing great, finally over the first cold, I'm sure the next will come soon. But so far we are all healthy again. Our youngest one starts rolling to one side now.....the middle one is sleeping in her own bed for two days now throught the night!!!!!!!! And my son had his Laternenfest yesterday where they performed a great show! Unfortunately my camera doesn't take good photos when it's too dark.....I will see what I can make out of them, pretty blurry and out of balance with the light. Is that better with an SLR????? I wonder......maybe a new camera for Christmas????

Speaking of Christmas, somebody wants a calnendar? Let me know in the comments. Since I can't really find time to also have an online shop up at Etsy I offer you here calendars. Let me know.

Middle one and Expressive Painting paint! Finally she was allowed to paint with a big brush and the good paint! I had to exchange some paint and she was allowed to use the ones I had to switch. She had a blast! Me too watching her!

Not enough light.....it's kind of hard taking photos in late afternoon, the light is already gone by then....so blurry blurry blurry..........

Hi everybody! It has been a while! WHERE DOES THE TIME GO??????

Well I feel like a Hamster in its wheel........before I know the days are over, not to speak about the week.....November already, huh???? I guess so. Well I can't really complain, I usually love being active but taking care of three kids can be challenging sometimes, especially when you have a 2 year old who just discovered her ' I don't want to do that now or listen to what mama says or not getting dressed when you have to go'. I'm sure a lot of you know what I mean. Soooooo I try to manage the wild bunch as good as possible.

Two weeks ago I went with my husband (alone no kids) to an art museum. It was kind of weird doing something again without kids and after the 3 hours I knew, I'm so glad we have all 3 of them. A life without kids I can't even imagine anymore, it would be pretty boring......and that reminds me how much my kids mean to me, so taking a break from them for 3 hours is a nice reminder.

Other than that, we are doing good, just got over a cold and hopefully the next one will wait a little longer. But since everybody around is kind of sick it's getting tough to fight off the germs and viruses.

My classes started back up to my satisfaction. I have lot's of fun giving them and my participants enjoy being creative! You might think, wow how is she doing all that with 3 kids?? Well, all I say, if you really want to do something, you make it somehow possible and to me it's big time important! The preparation is getting done somehow in between a day and so far it all worked out. Of course only with the help of my husband and family.

So you see we stay busy. And I try to update you regularly!

Where does it go????

How long must it take for this little fellow to cross a road, forever! Hard to imagine....but it would be definitely to slow for me . But sometimes I need to walk the slow path as well...and than I think 'Ah that feels so good, how do I always get in the fast lane so fast again?'......

Today we had my favorite fall time weather. Fast dark clouds, windy, blue skies and sun......I enjoyed our walk today, but I have to get used to the colder temperatures. They predicted snow above 400 m.........arrrrgghhhhhh........not ready for snow........but we are below 400 so I'm not too worried about it.

Other than that we have the cold bug....hopefully getting rid of it soon!

Concerning my calendar sales online, I have an Etsy Account set up....now I just have to find the time to set it all up.....I keep you informed.

Well, not that much to report, busy days, busy weeks and hopefully some more fun with my classes this weekend!

Farmers market and finally visited all the Studios....

Hello everybody! How was your weekend? I hope you had a great time. We did. My son had a sport event saturdays and he had a lot of fun! Me too, taking lot's of photos...unfortunately I hit a button and raced the ISO to 3200...I was wondering why I didn't need the flash inside....well, that's why. So all the photos are pixelated....oh well at least we have some they are ok. Next time I know! On sunday we went to the Farmers Market in Ramstein. It was fun, lot's of goodies and also lot's for the eyes as you see. Two of my kids had a blast riding some horses for a short way and back.

I also participated in the Online Open Studio Event from the Quiltingsarts Company who produce the magazines STUDIO and Clothes Paper Scissors, and I finally went to all the links and visited everybodies Studios! It was wonderful to see all those small, big, cute, cozy, fun, extraordinairy Studios! I enjoyed it a lot, even it was a little tough making them all, so I had to splitt and do some more today.

So off to a new week, no classes this week, therefore some well deserved friends meeting times! I'm already looking forward to it!

Concerning the weather, it changed today, it's raining, we need the rain and I don't mind. As long it doesn't last forever.....so let's see.

Hi there! How is everybody doing? I hope great! Those who read Clothes Paper Scissors and their magazine STUDIOS probably know about the Online Open Studio Event on saturday. I'm participating as well, so check out my business page, nothing really new concerning photos, it's just about the fun to join!

Other than that this week is full and busy....last night I had my first Expressive Painting Class after the break and of course it was not the way how I planned it. My youngest daughter didn't want to stay with daddy....so I had to manage somehow with her. Thanks to the participants who didn't mind.....still it was not really ok to me. With Collage Class it's ok but Expressive painting I kind of need the attention on my participants than my daughter, but she calmed down and fell asleep on my arm.....next time I try putting her in my carry towel.

So let's see how the class will be on friday night and how my youngest one will be.......never know with kids right????? Anyway I'm not giving up on classes that's for sure...somehow it has to work !

As you see some more new photos....took them this week on our morning walk.....fall time has for sure something mystic in the mornings, enjoy!

Hello everybody!
Today is suppose to be another beautiful fall time day....tomorrow is rain predicted. This morning when I woke up the sun was kissing our sunflowers, as you can see below.
Other than that I had a really great time giving my classes on friday night and saturday mornings. Looking forward for the next ones to come this week. The classes were filled with creativity and a lot of laughter.
Concerning my calenders for 2010, I'm still undecided how to sell them online.....so if I ever figure it out I let you know.

So off to enjoy the sunday and taking care of laundry (the non fun part of the day).....smiles, Anke ;)

This morning we had the luck to see some old trains on the railroad passing our village! This was for sure exciting not only for my 2 year old.....even I enjoyed it! And wow they sure carry a big cloud behind them!!!!! Enjoy and have a great weekend, my classes are starting tonight! Yeah!!!!!!

We had a wonderful fall time start yesterday. Really warm and blue sky! Almost better than in the summer! The mornings usually start with fog now and you can catch the spider webs with you camera even better......as you see above.

Looks like today it's going to be wonderful again. That's fine with me, I'm not complaining ;).

Other than weather I finally made it to my Studio and actually created again in a bigger seize. I did some art in my art journal kind of regular, but working big is definetly more balancing. It was fun and I was able to have some fun on sunday and yesterday. My youngest daugther is thankfully so cooperative that she sleeps in her stroller next to me when I create.....won't last that much longer I bet. So enjoy all the photos and have great day!

After neglecting my blog.....

...I'm posting some more flower photos from my little garden. Probably the last ones for this year, weather can change fast into nasty. We already had a taste of the dull grey sky in the last week. Lasted almost all week, finally yesterday the clouds tore apart and we saw the blue sky and some sun again! Felt so great. Don't really like that dull grey weather, I rather have rainy weather, at least you know what the grey is for.

Other than that we are all doing good. I start with my classes this week friday and I'm already looking forward too. It will be a nice break from taking care of the kids and household.......I'm sure a lot know what I mean.

My wild bunch is growing fast. Just registered my son this week for school.....time goes too fast!

Our youngest girl is growing so fast as well and starts to talk in her way. She is so cute! Smiles a lot too. Our middle daughter is so independent already...must be the good role modell in front of her ;) She is a wild one though, so it's not getting boring over here lol!

Concerning my recovery, I'm getting better every day, thanks to my mum who helps whenever is possible with the housework or the kids. I'm really gratefull for it.

....Hello everybody, just stopping by fast and let you know the preparation are done for tomorrows Open Studio! Thanks to my family, I couldn't have manage without their help, since I can't lift heavy. Hi everybody, I thought I give you an update what's going on here. First to the photos. As you can see I felt like taking some photos again, experiemented with some black and white settings....definetly is interesting to see the details more.

Other than that, I'm recovering ok, slowly but surely. I have some help with the housework and kids which is a great thing! Our youngest family member is growing so fast, also wants some entertainment now when she is awake, just laying in her day bed is too boring. My two other kids are so good with her too, my son is really proud having another little sister and loves to hold her, so does my middle daughter, she loves to hold her as well and is not jealous so far.

So everything goes ok here, even I can tell, I'm not that stress resistent yet.....but I'm working on it.

Concerning my busines, I'm getting started again with planning and getting materials I need for the next classes coming up in September/October. Mid September is another Information day planned. As you see I'm not really getting bored, especially with 3 kids, always something to do!

...puh I can tell you, the last 10 days were the most stressful ones in my live. It all started on the 19th July. Contractions were there but not effective and than the heart beat was not too good either. The worst part started short before 15.00h when the heart beat was gone...than things got really hectic and I got an emergency c-section with a general anaesthesia. They found out she had trouble with the blood sugar and didn't look to healthy, so they transfered her to child clinic 15km away from the hospital I was. I got transfered there the next day, 24h later I saw her the first time, without blurry vision! Horrible time. She had an infection and it turned out to be a streptokoks (do you write it like that??) infection which is bad for newborns. Anyway she got right away antibiotics which was our luck. So we had to stay 10 days in the hospital till she got all her antibiotics. The stay was really stressfull and I'm so glad we are back home. Elisa is doing fine and I'm doing ok too. I can tell though, it were some tough traumic days, seperated from your child for 24 h after birth and than have to let her stay alone in the child clinic....awful. The last two days I had her with me in the room, which was kind of nice. So to fill in the blancs she was born on the 19th July, 3750gramms and 52cm tall. I'm so glad everything went fine in the end......we had an angle watching us!

Friday wasn't it - maybe today?

Well, friday was not the day, even I had all afternoon regular contractions every 5 min, but after 45 min bath time to see if they are the real deal, nothing again - maybe today? Those maybes drive me nuts. And I feel like on a rollercoaster ride anyway concerning mood swings. Is that normal in the end?? I can tell there is definitely a hormone change going on for about two weeks now....and I'm so ready to get it over with.......so another maybe today and only-a-half-smile-Anke ;)

Even I don't have a great weekend waiting, hopefully you have at least a great one!

Apple boat and first sunflowers blossom

Yesterday was a hot summer day and my daughter had some fun in her little pool. Of course the apple boat had to come too....she had a blast playing and eating. And don't worry the water was fresh even it doesn't look like it, smiles ;)

Also the first sunflower started to blossom. It's a small one and the bees liked it right away. Still no Baby out...but today the contractions are coming since morning kind of regular....so let's see how the day ends. Maybe I take a bath soon to see if they are the real deal or fake ones again.....other than that two days over due date and a check up at hospital this morning, everything is fine with the baby...it's just the question if the mom is fine as well. Patience is thin layer right now........anyway wish you all a great weekend start. Looks like we get a chilly and rainy one again. German summers you never know!
